NU is not a registered charity or not-for-profit organisation. We are a group of concerned parents and educators who have united of our own free will with no links to any political party. We are not funded by politicians, corporations, government grants, or political parties. We are self funded and rely on the generosity of the good people of Australia who feel compelled to donate to our cause. All funds are used and/or donated directly to our causes such as; Food & Toy Hampers for struggling families or individuals. Emergency accommodation for struggling families or individuals. Flood affected communities. Funds transferred directly to people on the ground distributing food, fuel, and supplies. Legal costs i.e. Barristers fees, solicitors fees, court costs, legal administration incurred to fight against vaccine mandates. Reclaim The Line Campaigns (while most things are donated there are some incurred costs). Alternative school pathways initiatives. Specific Children support initiatives. Zoom and website costs We need to be very clear that funds are NEVER used for the following; Wages/Salaries/Contractors Rent for offices or administration Fines incurred at protests/rallies etc Donations to political parties As we are not a charity, company, or organisation all funds are deposited into Christian ‘Mack’ Marchegiani’s account who then disperses all the funds to the rest of the NU admin team to use accordingly. The cost to set up a legal entity and trust accounts or foundation is beyond our means financially.
