Last July, my amazing friend, inspiration and colleague, Annette, was diagnosed with stage 4 ovarian cancer and is now in the fight of her life. One day she was busy with family, planning a new house and working in the place she loved, helping women to bring their new babies into the world, when all of a sudden she was thrown into a world of hospital stays and chemotherapy. To do my part, I’ve decided to shave my head and raise money to ensure Annette and Tony do not have to worry about anything but fighting this disease, spending time with family and friends and building the house of their dreams.
