The THPS is a group of over 500 Tasmanian healthcare workers that has formed in response to the Tasmanian Government’s mandatory COVID-19 Vaccination Public Health Directive. With an estimated combined 9,000 years of experience, the THPS provides critical healthcare services and includes surgeons, specialists, GPs, doctors, nurses, midwives, dentists, paramedics, allied health, psychologists, psychiatrists, chiropractors, disability support workers, counsellors, occupational therapists, pathologists, pharmacists, medical suppliers and contractors etc. As of the 31 October 2021 there is no one else in the State to deliver some of these critical services. The Tasmanian Government’s vaccine mandate is forcing people to have a vaccine that is still in a trial phase, or be terminated from employment. In doing this the government is violating basic human rights and the right to choose, as well as forcing people against their wills to receive medical procedures without informed consent.
