Luca is a typical little boy, in his first year of school, who has the brightest smile, greatest laugh and the biggest heart.... and is fighting the fight of his life everyday against Leukaemia. Since his diagnosis in early 2021 every week is spent attending Chemo sessions, Radiation, Pathology appointments, Blood tests, Spinal taps.... the list goes on. By his side through all of this are his beautiful family, Mum Carina, Dad Brad, little brother Louis and constant companion Buddy the doggo. Between constant hospital appointments, lack of employment due to caring for Luca and the minimal subsidies received in medical expenses, things are undoubtedly tight in the family financial department. We have set-up this page to help the family directly with ongoing bills and to cover the costs of everyday expenses, hospital parking alone is a fortune every week and then there's the extras that never end, medicines, specialists, travel, isolation when required due to immune system, medical aids, dietary requirements = expensive groceries..... the list goes on! Luca and his family already have such a huge load to carry, the least we can do is try and lessen that load.
