On Saturday July 31, 2021, the world lost a much-loved son, brother, father, husband, grandson, friend, family member and enthusiastic community member – Steven George. A man who would be the first to turn up to help a friend when the chips were down. The first one to call you to celebrate your wins and the one standing next to you trying to make you laugh when you needed to be cheered up. Steven touched so many lives and we understand that everyone wants to show their respects and the family are most grateful. Steven’s family were his world and his legacy. It’s with this in mind, that we, his friends and wider community, want to set up this page in his honour. Many of his close and wide network are looking for an avenue to show their love and support during this incredibly sad time and want to know how they can best stand behind his whole family, but especially Jacqueline (Steven’s beloved wife), and show their support to their four beautiful children. While flowers, food drops, and assistance with chores are lovely and the family are incredibly grateful, it’s his children that Steven would want us to support and look after, just like he would do if it was any of us. With this in mind, we have set up a trust for Steven’s four children. We have set up this page for the family, with their full support, as a way we can all channel our love and support for our dear friend. The family thanks everyone for all their love and support in this difficult time. Steven will be sadly missed, and his memory cherished forever. Love Steven George’s community.
