Eleanor was born 6 weeks premature at St John of God Hospital Geelong (SJOG) and spent over twenty days in the Special Care Nursery. During her stay, she experienced respiratory distress and required a specialised procedure that needed specialised equipment that was unavailable. Being able to undertake this procedure in Geelong means that newborns do not have to be transported to Melbourne away from their families. To thank the wonderful staff at SJOG for their care and support, Eleanor is aiming to raise enough money for the hospital to buy this specialised equipment so other newborns can stay in Geelong.

Thank you everyone for their continued support towards Eleanor’s Gift over the past 18 months. We wanted to pass on the amazing news that the fundraising target has been reached. We couldn’t have made it this far without you. The videolaryngoscope has been ordered and I am looking forward to updating you once it has arrived in the Special Care Nursery.

Eleanor’s Gift is running an auction and a raffle. There are beautiful hampers and gifts up for auction and raffle including baby hampers, beauty and wellness hampers, accommodation vouchers, wine, dinner and so much more. Each hamper basket includes at least two gift vouchers inside. You can access the auction via this link; www.32auctions.com/eleanorsgift Raffle tickets are $5 per ticket, they can be purchased via making a donation via this page, contacting myself or heading into SJOG Geelong. Each prize is worth $400-$1,000 each, with the total prize pool worth above $6,000. The auction and raffle will be running for 4 weeks, just in time for a Christmas surprise. Only 4 days until the end of the financial year. Donations $2 and above are tax deductible. Now is the time to donate. Eleanor now 18 months old she loves running, jumping, chasing bubbles and dancing the days away.

?Hip hip hooray, It’s Eleanor’s 1st birthday today! Balloons ? Aaron and I can’t believe that a year has passed by already. She has grown us so much in this first 12 months and become such an independent little girl already. We would like to thank everyone that has helped us during Eleanor’s first 12 months, we couldn’t have done it without you and for everyone’s generous donations to Eleanor’s fundraiser. We have now raised an amazing 14% and only $90 away from 15% Let’s keep sharing and spreading the word ??
