Raising funds for: Aboriginal Encounter Memorial
In 1788, at Sydney North Harbour, now Balgowlah, Captain Philip of the First Fleet encountered Aboriginal men. He entered in his logbook they looked "manly", creating the name of the suburb Manly. In commemoration, a sculpture and plaque are planned, to be set on an existing base in the plaza above the Balgowlah Stockland shopping centre.
