We are competing in the Oscars100 Hut2Hut trail event in February 2022 @ Mt Buller. It's a 100 km trek through the Victorian High Country over 3 days. WHY? We are wanting to create awareness and acceptance for Autism. A cause close to our heart having 2 children with Autism. Oscars100 is an organisation committed to improving the lives of children living with Autism. Oscars100 has partnered with Irabina Childhood Services and Mansfield Autism Statewide Services who deliver essential early intervention programs in both metro and regional Victoria.

Happy New Year to all our supporters. Robyn's ankle is slowly healing, it is still swollen and sore but she is doing her physio exercises and walking in the pool each day to help with the recovery. Thanks to you all we reached our fundraising target of $2,500 so our entry fee has been refunded. As promised that $779 was today donated back to our cause taking our total raised to date $3,529. We are so very proud of ourselves and very grateful for all the support. The Oscars100 organisers have also very kindly agreed to carry our entry over to the 2023 event where Team Hodson will be back bigger, better and injury free!

It is with much disappointment that we need to let you all know Team Hodson has withdrawn from the 2022 Oscars 100 event. Robyn has had scans on her ankle and has been advised by the doctor's that it would be unsafe for her to compete in such a remote and ruggered environment with 2 torn ligaments and extensive bone bruising. We have had a few generous offers of people willing to fill her shoes but it is something we really want to complete together for our family. We are hoping to roll our entry over to the 2023 event and are waiting to hear back from the race organisers. Thank you all for your kind support and donations to date, our fundraising page is still open if you could spare a few dollars for this worthy cause xo We are sorry.

Hello everyone. So our training was going well, we have arrange all of our mandatory gear, purchased our new trail shoes, booked a big weekend of hiking at the Prom and reached our fundraising target thanks to you all, and then last week.................Robyn had an accident at home resulting in a very sore, swollen and bruised ankle. She is currently undergoing physio, compression/ice therapy and is waiting for some scans to be done to determine the level of damage. To say she is cranky with herself to have done such a silly thing is an understatement. For the next few weeks its a wait and see, hopefully it heals quickly, no major damage was done, training can resume and we make it to Mt Buller in February.

We are doing it for these 2, and all the children who have the superpower of Autism. This week marks two important milestones. 1 - we are officially 6 months out from the trek date and as such our formal training has begun. 2 - thanks to you all we have reached the 1st milestone of our fundraising target of $1,000! We are humbled by the generous donations. The next target is $2,500. If we can hit this target we get our entry fee of around $779 refunded. If this happens Brad and I commit to donating this back to the cause. https://www.mycause.com.au/p/257485/team-hodson

Firstly, a huge thank you to those who have kicked off our fundraising campaign . It means the world to us that you are able to spare some hard earned dollars to help raise awareness for Autism. Secondly, a big shout out to Voyage Fitness Wonthaggi for giving us free gym memberships to help get us into shape. Now we need lockdowns to end so we can actually get in the gym! Speaking of lockdowns, its been a bit hard to train this week, but we made the most of the glorious sunshine this morning to do an 11 km walk. What an amazing winters day. Hope you all got to soak up some sunshine too ?
