I know it will come as a huge surprise for my family and friends that I have voluntarily offered to TREK to raise money. Raising money for Australia’s only disability college for young adults is a cause very close to my heart. My daughter Ariana, who lives with Down Syndrome graduated from the college in 2019 and now lives a wonderful life of independence seperate from me. This opportunity not only enhanced her life immeasurably, but mine and our family’s life as well. For each student that goes through the college, we need to raise $30k per student, per year to keep the doors open. So, I am putting myself right out of my comfort zone and trekking for 5 days in outback Queensland, with a group of fabulous dedicated women all raising money for STEPS. The smallest donation will go towards making a huge difference ❤️
