“My Naughty Dad” MND fundraising tour

Lily Starr and Abby Gallaway are Big Lez, Lil Lez. In an effort to spread awareness and raise money in the plight against this life changing disease, Lily and Abby curated a fantastic line up of performers.

The very successful event featured a mixture of stand up comedy, live music, drag and sketch and aimed to unite those experiencing MND and educate those who have yet to learn of MND.

MND NSW have provided wonderful support to Big Lez, Lil Lez and their goals for this fundraiser. All profits made at the event will be donated to MND NSW to help support families in need and fund necessary research to find a cure.

MND NSW provides information, support and education for people living with motor neurone disease, their families, friends and carers in NSW, ACT and NT. They also provide information and education about motor neurone disease for health, community and residential care professionals.

Lily performed part of her upcoming show, My Naughty Dad, which she will tour and continue to fundraise for MND NSW.

Synopsis of Starr’s upcoming show:
Lily Starr is a lesbian with epilepsy who has an undeniable ability to make people laugh. But behind every funny dyke is an annoying, offensive man.  

The man behind Lily Starr, is her father Tony Starr.  

Tony Starr is a straight man with unique parenting style, a member of the iconic Australian dance pop band “The Machinations” and an amazing ability to be blocked from several Facebook pages for cyber bullying homophobes, transphobes, racists and sexists.  

Lily Starr’s brand new show “My Naughty Dad” is an  enlightening and heartwarming show  highlights the importance family and friends when life throws unexpected adversity at you.
