The Springvale Lighthouse Committee are doing our Walk/Run/Cycle Challenge around Australia again! We had so much fun doing it last year that we thought we’d give it another go. Therefore, once again we are seeking donations over the next four weeks to sponsor us as we walk, run or cycle as far as we can to see if can virtually make it around mainland Australia. There are 12,981 kilometres from Melbourne to each capital city and back again so to give us a boost every dollar you donate will be added to the weekly tally of kilometres physically travelled and together they will form our total distance. Last year we almost made it to Perth and raised $7307.14 in the process. With your help we can beat that total and help an amazing organisation provide homes to homeless youths as well as fund their therapeutic care, foster care & outreach programs to youths at risk. We get fit, young people keep a roof over their heads, you feel good, everyone wins!
