Raising funds for: Sylas Richard

Hi, my name is Sylas, I'm a transmasculine person and have been on HRT for 1 year. The next step in my transition is to get top surgery so I can live a life free of crippling body dysphoria. I have my first consult with a surgeon on the 28th of Febuary. This alone will cost $300, but it will also give me a quote for my surgery and an estimated date to get it done. Fingers crossed for 2022! I am asking for help with funds because i am unable to work due to disability and my health insurance + personal savings will only cover part of the cost. Please consider making a donation, as every little bit counts, and it wont go unnoticed! This fundraiser will remain open, and updated regularly until i reach my goal. Thank you!

The 4th of December marked 1 year on Testosterone! I have m first surgery consult on the 28th of February where i hope to get a much clearer idea of how much i will be paying. It will be in the ballpark of $5,000 to $8,000 out of pocket with my insurance. Plus travel, Consultations $300 and aftercare. I hope to be getting surgery in late 2022.

The 4th of October marked 10 months on HRT. A lot has happened in the last month. I now have hospital insurance which will help cover some of the costs involved with surgery. Making it possible to lowered my fundraiser from $15,000 to $10,000. This comes with a 12 month waiting period giving me ample time to raise the money required. And I now have a referral to my preferred surgeon in Melbourne, this means I can start the process of talking about my preferred techniques and outcome, and what kind of time frame I can expect to get surgery. And I am very excited by the possibility that by this time next year, I may well be bust free.

I am 7 months into my HRT (Testosterone) journey and it has been amazing to see all the support from friends, both financially and emotionally. Today my Top surgery fund hit $2,000 mark! These small milestones feel incredible and continue to keep me inspired.

It may not seem like much, but hitting the $1,000 mark feels like a milestone. I just wanted to say a big thank you to everyone who has donated. It's been truly heart warming to see and hear how supportive my friends are of me and my journey as a trans individual.
