On the 11th April I will be undertaking my first full marathon...yikessss!
My fitness journey began during lockdown last year when I began running as a way of keeping fit when I couldn't play tennis or surf. To stop it from just being a lockdown hobby I committed to a half marathon.
This challenge is a lot more daunting and a lot more brutal and with a limited training period I'm not really sure what I've gotten myself into.
I have chosen Wildlife Warriors (originally called the Steve Irwin Conservation Foundation) as I have always had a real love for wildlife and nature and Wildlife Warriors are making a massive difference globally in terms of research and conservation efforts.

My Cause Gift Fund for Australia Zoo Wildlife Warriors
Funds donated to the My Cause Gift Fund will be disbursed to Australia Zoo Wildlife Warriors. The trustees will always disburse funds to the nominated cause, however in the case that that is not possible, the funds will be disbursed to a DGR charity at the trustees discretion.
