NSW PARKS is continuing trapping of our magnificent Heritage Horses 200 year old genetic, nature's selection process of survival of the fittest these horses are strong, intelligent and beautifully natured. I am fundraising to help towards the ongoing transport costs of the Kosciuszko National Park brumby removals to get them rehomed before they are taken to be slaughtered. The next few weeks are going to see removals take place at a massive increase. Parks are moving into a new areas. The money I raise will go to campaigns that are currently running to substitute the transport costs of getting the brumbies onto trucks and heading towards the safety of sanctuaries, approved rehomer’s and their new forever homes. PLEASE. These beautiful horses are a part of our national history. They have been the inspiration of writers and poets. They are majestic and proud and have helped to protect our bushland areas by keeping down grassy areas to help protect from bushfires. PLEASE help us preserve this amazing animal from being endangered by donating any amount.
"He was right among the horses as they climbed the further hill And the watchers on the mountain standing mute, Saw him ply the stockwhip fiercely, he was right among them still, As he raced across the clearing in pursuit.
Then they lost him for a moment, where two mountain gullies met In the ranges, but a final glimpse reveals On a dim and distant hillside the wild horses racing yet, With the man from Snowy River at their heels."
It's a great cause. Keep going with it. Hopefully it will gather momentum.
