Tropical Soul Dance Studio was started back in April 2011, in the heart of Sydney, on Oxford St in Darlinghurst. Through the hard work of its founders Josie & Juan, in just a few years, the studio was full and bustling with keen dancers. It wasn’t too long before our beloved little studio became too small for our students’ big dance dreams. After searching for the perfect new studio space for the last few years, we’re very excited to let you know that we have finally found our new home! It took a lot of searching (and so many inspections!), but starting from mid-January 2021, we will be moving all our classes and activities to our new space in the suburb of Annandale. THE CHALLENGE =========================== However, this new project doesn't come without its load of challenges, especially in the light of the devastating year we've had due to the impact that COVID-19 has had on our dance studio (the social distancing restrictions killed us), and the industry. The funds we had faithfully saved for such an important project have been absorbed through the covid closures and restrictions, in order to keep our business alive. This being said, we are committed and ready to make this project happen and work our hardest to provide you with the most amazing space to dance in from 2021! We are very excited to be putting together a bright, big, state-of-the-art studio for all dancers to enjoy.
