I am an Adelaide based artist, and I’m raising money for Mesothelioma research using my art. Mesothelioma is an aggressive cancer caused by exposure to asbestos and at present, there is no cure. Sadly, Australia has one of the highest rates of Mesothelioma per capita in the world! I lost my wonderful Dad to this terrible disease in April 2011. In memory of my father, Murray Shean, I will be raising money by creating 100 portraits in 100 days, beginning on January 1st, 2021. Every dollar raised will help fund research at The National Centre for Asbestos Related Diseases. All donations, no matter the amount will be greatly appreciated. The first 100 donations of $50 will be able to choose the subject for one of the portraits, and also keep that portrait for themselves. ***PLEASE NOTE THAT THERE ARE NOW NO COMMISSION SPOTS LEFT.
