I have been raising awareness for animals since I have first volunteered at the Phuket Elephant Sanctuary in Thailand in 2017. I have been back to the sanctuary in 2018 and 2019 to help out. I was going to go back for another stint to help with their conservation efforts for rescued elephants in 2020. However, due to the global pandemic, I was sadly not able to put this into reality.

Apart from the elephants, I have volunteered at the Phuket Government Dog Pound in 2018 and 2019. I will volunteer there again on my next Phuket trip as well. Additionally, I support the Gibbon Rehabilitation Project and Tree Tops Elephant Reserve in Phuket.

With this fundraiser, I want to fuel and support the vital efforts that have been made to achieve a better life for all animals. So by helping me, you are helping to make an impact for the animals, for animal welfare, for animal conservation, for animal rights.

So what am I doing on my end?

I will be continuing to raise awareness. Not only through this fundraiser but I will also commit to walks in public spaces on which I will wear face masks or signs with animal right messages. This alone is to raise the eyebrow, confront people, instigate a conversation, make people think, make them wake up, make them research. I will post pictures of my quests regularly on this page.

Any amount will be making a big difference in the lives of animals in need. Especially now that the global pandemic has hit, supporting of the animals has become even more vital as the lack of international tourism and supporters has turned into a financial struggle.

There is a long way to go for the animals there to be looked after the way they deserve it. One animal at a time. Can you help?
