Education and warm clothes Hmong, Luang Prabang

My name is Sengkham. First of all, I would like to thank you all very much for those who have made a beautiful trip possible for me to do good things for my community by helping the underprivileged countryside kids, and people with clothes and school supplies last year. With all that donation of clothes and contributions, my team and I were able to keep nearly 100 people warm in winter and got more than 200 interesting story books, pens, pencils and etc…and not just only these, we also taught students about saving environment, cleanliness, plastic decompose and motivated them for better education.

And my name is Pari Gilmour. I visit Laos frequently. I am a school teacher in Australia and really value education. My friend Sengkham is a very inspiring young man who devotes a great deal of his time to supporting the wellbeing of the people in the countryside in Luang Prabang Province. One of the villages you will be helping is not accessible at all by road. It is 3 hours walk from Luang Prabang.
You can only imagine the you and sense of belonging that the support you give brings to these wonderful and determined children. As a teacher, it is so uplifting to see the absolute joy that your support brings and the genuine love for learning these children have.
