I’ve created this fundraiser in the hope to relieve some of the extreme financial pressure my beautiful friends are experiencing since giving birth to beautiful baby brave at 26 weeks due to mums preeclampsia and HELLP Syndrome. He was a tiny 600g at birth and his NICU journey involved several collapsed lungs and multiple sepsis infections. After 94 days, many of which looked pretty dire, he finally made it home. Unfortunately due to his extreme prematurity, he has chronic lung disease and is on oxygen at home 24/7, he also just underwent eye surgery for ROP(Retinopathy of prematurity) and has been diagnosed with hypothyroidism. Between the medical bills and oxygen therapy of which are both costly, his dad fractured his back in a workplace accident which has significantly impacted the family income. Financial issues on top of medical issues aren’t easy for anyone, so I ask if you can, please help lighten the load for this gorgeous family. Warmly, Ruth
