Run for Jett

Jett Clothier is a local 10 year old boy living with Cerebral Palsy, Epilepsy, Blindness, Scoliosis and many more complications.

Jett lives with his dad and 2 sisters in Mount Barker. Now that Jett is older, he is too big to be lifted into a car seat and to travel safely without his wheelchair. Jett needs to be in his wheelchair when travelling to doctors appointments, hospital, therapists, family outings, and more. He is now being transported by taxi, without his dad (Kym), who needs to be with Jetts sisters to care for them. The strain and logistical nightmare this places on Jett's family is huge!
For Kym to be able to drive Jett, he will need a car that can be modified for Jetts wheelchair. NDIS will only modify cars that are newer than 5 years old. Having quit his job to be Jett's full time carer, Kym does not have the money to buy a car that can be modified.
We are fundraising to buy the car for Kym, so that he can transport his family with ease, like we take for granted being able to do.
