Since August 2019, Buttman has collected 80,000 cigarette butts from public places where they were littered by smokers. We see no reason why we allow toxic, chemical laden plastic butts to be thrown into our environment in Australia, and our mission is to put an end to this - NO IFS OR BUTTS. Donations to this cause will fund a campaign which seeks to make a meaningful difference towards the cultural change we must undertake in Australia, to protect our streets, parks, waterways and wildlife from plastic pollution and cigarette butt litter.
Funds Raised will go directly towards:
Official Pocket Ashtrays: custom BUTTMAN ashtrays from Brain Garden Company setup costs: trademark, registration etc. Buttman Merchanise - design and production of organic tees, hoods. Promotional material - brochures, stickers, video. Rubbish Collections: material for cigarette butt removal such as gloves, heavy duty bags and litter pickers. Rubbish storage and removal.
Cigarette Butt Litter removal and Cultural Change Campaign. Engaging the community, council, government and smokers to make cigarette butt litter a thing of the past.
