KEEP BURRILL BEAUTIFUL FUND We are a group of Burrill Lake residents on the South Coast of New South Wales. We are working to protect the Lake from overdevelopment. This has been initiated to scale back the Edgewater Motel Development proposed for Burrill Lake and to stop a precedent being set for other areas of Burrill. Edgewater Motel developers are seeking to replace an 8-room motel with a 4 level accommodation facility with 2 bars, (one being a Sports Bar with gambling facility), restaurant, 25 Accommodation Rooms, Reception Area, Roof Top Terrace and a Deck which will be built out over the salt marsh and foreshore of Burrill Lake. The height of this development will be 12.85m. Not only the noise levels, but the overall size and scope of this development will be detrimental to this area, including the foreshore precinct. We have engaged Planning Ingenuity to write an extensive report regarding the many issues raised by this development and to put forward the facts from the DA to our community.
