Run for a Reason

Some dear friends and I will be testing the little lungs out and running 21km in the Adelaide City to Bay later this year. I’ll be taking part in hope to raise some funds for the local charity South Australian Foundation of oto rhino laryngology Head & Neck surgery in support of a cause very close to home for myself and so many others around the world. We also hope to raise awareness of the challenges patients undergoing cancer treatment face on a daily basis and the affect this can have on families/carers & friends. Funds raised will contribute towards research projects and creation of and purchasing equipment necessary for head and neck cancer patients in South Australia. Although physically and mentally challenging, this run and the journey leading up to is small in comparison to the journey those who undergo oncology treatment endure on a daily basis.
