My name is Jaida Kearns and I am 12 years old. My friend Chloe Saxby has been diagnosed with Vanishing White Matter Disease also know as VWM. Chloe is about the same age as me, and she is kind, brave, cheerful, affectionate, warm hearted girl. When Chloe was 3 she got a really bad vomiting virus and then with in a week she couldn’t walk?. We need to find this cure for Chloe she has already lost her ability to walk and will lose her ability to speak, eat, hear and she and will experience a lot of pain and suffering and then die at a very early age. When Chloe’s parents Nyree and Grant found out what chloe had doctors didn’t even know what it was. VWM is an extremely rare brain disease that affects mostly children and the white matter in your brain starts to vanish.
