Schools have closed in Sierra Leone. Children had already missed many weeks of school during the ebola crisis, missing any more schooling is not what they need right now. The Government of Sierra Leone is doing their best to provide radio learning, lessons which are scheduled by school year. There are other organisations such as Rising Academies who are also offering a free distance learning solution, using their proven, high-quality, structured curriculum content, redesigned for delivery via radio and SMS. By sharing lesson scripts and pre-recorded audio for radio and SMS content, their goal is to help governments and other partners provide quality teaching and learning to millions of children shut out of school by the coronavirus pandemic.

We have partnered with Rising Academies to provide these lessons and now just need to provide our children with a radio.
