She managed to evade us until the April 2020! After seven years of isolation in the bush, Prickles (an expert at social distancing), has grew a monumental fleece. Prickles, and our family, are lucky to be able to isolate safely on our farm during the Covid-19 crisis. It made us think of the millions of people around the world who don't have the option of good sanitation and social-distancing to protect them from the virus. Imagine the devastation of COVID 19 ravaging through a refugee camp! To help out, our family and Prickles decided to hold a competition to guess the weight of her fleece, with the ‘entry fee’ being a donation of any amount to UNHCR, a charity that supports displaced people.
