Sending Love to Australia - Bushfire Relief Fundraiser (Organized by Australians in Chicago)

After the bushfires is the long painful task of rebuilding homes, farms and entire communities. A group of Australians living in Chicago has stepped up to help fundraise. Send your love to Australia by donating, volunteering or joining Australians in Chicago for a fundraising event not to be missed! With live music, comedy, sausage sizzle, lamingtons, meat raffle, silent auction, Aussie food.

Tickets: $50 USD per person ($42.50 of each ticket sold goes to BlazeAid).

Blaze Aid (ACNC Charity ABN: 72456906612) BlazeAid is a volunteer-based organization that works with families and individuals across Australia after natural disasters such as fires and floods. Working alongside the families, our volunteers help to rebuild fences and other structures that have been damaged or destroyed.

#LoveToAustralia —- The Block Club Chicago media outlet featured "Love to Australia" in their publication. Journalist Hannah Alanie writes to Chicagoans --- "Want To Help Australia? Chicago’s Aussie Americans Are Throwing A Fundraiser To Combat ‘Horrendous’ Bushfires" --- A group of Australian Americans living in Chicago are teaming up against the destruction of bushfires ravaging their homeland — and they need help. The Aussies are hosting a fundraiser 6-11 p.m. Feb. 13 at TipsySpace, 1223 W. Grand Ave. A $50 ticket covers food, an open bar, live entertainment and participation in a silent auction. Proceeds will benefit BlazeAid, a volunteer organization that rebuilds fences and other structures in rural Australia after natural disasters.

#LoveToAustralia --- Chicago Fox 32 News invited 'Love to Chicago' organizer to the station to share about the bush fires in Australia, our loved ones impacted and the Aussie themed fundraiser “Love to Australia” we are organizing in Chicago on Feb. 13th. All donations will go to BlazeAid —- a grassroots Australian volunteer organization (Charity) that go into towns and communities in Australia after natural disasters to help with the rebuild. My Cause Gift Fund for Blaze Aid
Funds donated to the My Cause Gift Fund will be disbursed to Blaze Aid. The trustees will always disburse funds to the nominated cause, however in the case that that is not possible, the funds will be disbursed to a DGR charity at the trustees discretion.
