On the 21st and 22nd of December, I will running from Hobart to Launceston in support of SPEAK UP Stay ChatTY. SPEAK UP Stay ChatTY will use these funds to promote positive mental health messages in the community. Removing stigma from mental health issues, and raising awareness of them is something really close to my heart. Stay ChatTY are great at spreading the message that it is OK to not be OK, and this is an awesome opportunity to support them. The fundraising idea of this campaign is based off the distance. There are 200km between Launceston and Hobart, and I am aiming for 200 people to each sponsor a kilometre of the journey by donating $25 (or several lots of $25) to the cause. Together, this will reach the goal of $5000. However, I see no reason to stop there, and it would be great to have many more people donating and to see this target blown out of the water.
