Giving the gift of hearing to hearing impaired children of Pune!
Imagine growing up in a world unable to hear! - “Let every deaf child speak”
90 International volunteers from Australia, UK, America and India, travelling over 2700km, driving 30 rickshaws across 5 States – to support Cochlea Pune to raise funds to build a state of the art specialist Swaranaad pre-school.
Cochlea Pune for hearing and speech has been a growing charitable trust who specialise in supporting congenitally born deaf children from the age of 0 through to 6 years. The charity now supports over 125 children to help them hear and speak with the assistance of over 35 teachers, hearing aids, providing speech therapy and most importantly through the specialist Swaranaad pre-school.
With the rate of admission, the Cochlea team have run out of room and they need your support now.
Through Sewa UK, we are supporting Cochlea Pune to raise funds to build a state of the art Swaranaad pre-school which will allow the Cochlea team to not only provide further support to current children but also allow the admission of more children.
Team Perth is made up of Kishor (Kissy) Varsani, Mukta Varsani, Kush Varsani, Tiya Varsani, Harry (Mechanic) Kerai and Sunny Bhudia (Chips-on-a-Stick).
All participants have personally funded the the full cost of the trip to ensure maximum funds are donated to charity.
Funds raised will be donated to Cochlea Pune via SewaUK https://sewauk.org/current-appeals/cochlea-pune/
Good luck
