About
Unfortunately last year my family and I lost our much loved Nanna to the wrenched disease motor neurone disease (MND). MND is a universally fatal neurodegenerative disease with no known cure and limited way to manage the suffering involved.
Throughout her battle she encouraged people around her not to buy her flowers or any gifts, but to simply donate to Fight MND. In hope that in the future somebody else wouldn’t have to go through the suffering she did.
Now that she isn’t with us I want keep the wheels rolling (pun intended) by riding the Great Divide Trail with a couple of mates Louis and Fynn. Covering a total distance of +5000km of 90% dirt trails and roads starting in Jasper, Canada and finishing at the Mexico and US border.
To put the distance and hill climbing into perspective it would be like starting in Perth and riding to Sydney then up to the Gold Coast but on the way riding over Mt Everest seven times. When you put it like that I’m not sure if I even want to attempt it haha!
We would love your support whether it’s a donation or simply sharing the content on your socials to help spread the word.
We will be starting to head south in a few days so be sure to follow the journey on FB or Instagram @tourfornan
Well done chicken legs ? ?
