Hello POLAR PLEDGERS.... guess what! I am very proud to say I did my part of the POLAR PLUNGE deal! Not only once but TWICE (we were not allowed to do a naked plunge so I made up for it by going back in a second time ...and it was from the beach so even harder!)…. was it cold!? … umm no IT WAS FREEZING!!!!
So time to put your pledge into action too!!

One of my goals taking part in Homeward Bound is to be more influential in the quest for a sustainable planet. I believe that starts with each and every one of us - we all can play a role – and if we give nature a chance – it will also be resilient to the challenges it faces. Here are some simple things you can do to contribute to a more sustainable future :-)

In just over three weeks I have the 'opportunity' to do a Polar Plunge in the sub freezing water of ANTARCTICA.
If I can get 20 people to take a 'polar pledge' then I will do ….a polar plunge!!
So what does a polar pledge involve for you.
1. Making a commitment (big or small) to being more sustainable - it can be reduce plastic, choose sustainably sourced fish, walk more - drive less, recycle more- waste less ...
2. Commit to your polar pledge and making a donation to my fundraising page.
There will be photographic evidence (to those who took the pledge with me)…. and I will be checking in on how you have gone with your polar pledge.
