Queensland Parks and Wildlife Service (QPWS) Ranger Mark Parsons has offered himself up for a makeover, whether it be shearing a shaggy, shaving a scruffy or dying a daggy!
Depending on how much is raised, Mark is willing to go through with any of the below:
1. Going green for Rangers (all hair dyed green for World Ranger Day) 2. Cue the cue ball look. 3. Clean and respectable – fully shaved beard, close cut trim back and sides. 4. Shaggy hipster – beard shaved on sides and cheek, leaving moustache and chin, slight hair trim. 5. The circus ringmaster look – beard cropped but with beefeater sides.
Monies raised will be split between the Queensland Rangers Association, The Thin Green Line Foundation, Staff Welfare Association and Flora House (which provides emergency accommodation for victims of Domestic Violence victims in Townsville).
The Thin Green Line Foundation Protects Nature’s Protectors by providing vital support to Rangers and their communities who are the front line of conservation. We work predominantly in developing nations and with Indigenous Rangers within Australia and abroad.
