My superhero sister, the healthiest and fittest mofo I know, is fighting her second battle against cancer. How cancer creeps itself into such a larger than life person like Bec is beyond me.
Even though we all know she's got this fight covered, she is certainly in for a tough battle this time around.
Doing the UTA22 with her last year in the Blue Mountains is a memory that I will always hold close to my heart, and this year I'll be running in the UTA50 for the first time. Knowing that Bec will be cheering me on is certainly going to get me across that line. I've decided to wear a big afro wig for the entire UTA50, in memory of the beautiful signature fro she will eventually lose. This act will hopefully help to raise some money for Bec to help her financially get through this shit time.
Bec is not one for attention or sympathy, and she definitely won't want to be making a big deal out of her situation, however I know that people around her who love will want to show their support in some way...so here is your chance.
Great memories of UTA Great cause well done
