We go again!!!!!
in 2017 I walked from Adelaide to Melbourne to try and remove the stigma of Suicide and raised nearly $60000 for the charity MindBlank. We achieved this due to the amazing support of family, friends and work mates from Origin.
Since the walk MindBlank has been able to reach out to more young people across NSW, NT and Victoria. Your donations do make a difference
We still have a long way to go to remove the stigma of suicide, so on the 25th October this year I’ll be leaving Parliament House, Melbourne and walk to the War Memorial in Canberra, 625 ks. I will be walking for MindBlank, but I will also raising money for Soldier On.. They are a charity that work closely with veterans who have served in the Armed Forces to help them secure a future. This is close to myself as I served in the Royal Air Force for 18 years and my brother David who sadly took his own life whilst serving in the Royal Marines...
I will be attempting to complete this walk without a support crew to highlight the people who are experiencing mental health issues alone......
Thank you for taking the time to read this and I look forward to sharing my journey with you..
