AN APPEAL FOR A CHANGE - FOR YOU My name is Paul Larcombe and I need your help We are soon to have a Federal election. Some may call me crazy but I have decided to stand as an Independent for a Queensland Senate seat. I am not a wealthy man and though vision impaired I have battled all my life to help others and our community to be a better place. * I am a graduate with many skills and qualifications but it is my beliefs and character that I hope you will support. Two things are happening as a result of the performance of many of our elected politicians. Many problems that need to be fixed that can be fixed like climate change, aged care, ageing infrastructure, stagnant wages and the rising cost of inequality aren’t being fixed. They aren’t being fixed because our politicians are serving their parties and their own interests not YOURS. My pledge is to work for this country, with all of its people, to ensure we have a future. Our future rests on our ability to find the best of all of our people to shape that future. NO ONE deserves to be left behind. We do not have the luxury of time as a Nation to manage the rapid pace of the fourth Industrial Revolution. As Australians we think our character is expressed by straight talking, common sense, integrity, generosity, humility and a strong belief in equality. Such values have been forgotten or cast aside by our current crop of politicians. Australia demands a strong and passionate voice in the Senate that speaks for the silent majority. I am that voice! I am one of you. With your support and your vote I will be YOUR VOICE. I will represent the groundswell of disenfranchised, disconnected and disillusioned people looking to create a better life for their families and community. NO ONE deserves to be left behind. You will have a Senate presence that will passionately and authentically fight to represent the views of everyday Australians. You will have a presence that will bring long overdue common sense to the forums of government. This is your chance to be a part of focused inclusive and diverse community regeneration!
