About
Too many people around the world have been exposed to the many asbestos variants with devastating consequences. Consequences which typically takes 15-20 years to manifest, resulting in life-threatening and incurable conditions.
My young family had the misfortune to be exposed to serious levels of asbestos as a result of living in our Canberra home which had been insulated with loose-fill asbestos insulation known as Mr. Fluffy.
Indian Pacific Wheel Race: 06:22am Saturday 16th March, 2019
I'm riding 5500km across the country from Fremantle to Sydney (via Adelaide, Melbourne, the Australian Alps and Canberra) to raise money to advance medical research into asbestos related diseases. I do this for all those impacted by this terrible product and in the hopes that if my children ever need help in the future as a result of their own exposure, they can access the medical help they need.
Thanks for reading and for any level of support you can offer, no matter how small. Together, let's make asbestos related diseases history! For more details look up my website: www.thebikepacker.org
