We are going to do a bbq and big shave at our house in Eden park on 17th of February with family of friends of Debbie crocker shaving their heads and beards to help raise money for ovarian cancer reasearch. Those close to Debbie/Mum will know she is going through the biggest battle of her life. She is a fighter though and through positive thought and love and strength from those closest to her she will overcome this beast of a disease. Any donations you can add to this will be greatly appreciated and will go directly to raising funds for ovarian cancer research. Ovarian cancer unfortunately in over 70% of cases isn’t detected untill it reaches stage 3-4. It is because of this that we need to help raise awareness and do our bit to contribute! Again any donation being big or small is appreciated. There will be more details about the barbecue and shave through Facebook so please stay posted.. thanks again
The Ovarian Cancer Research Foundation is Australia’s leading independent body dedicated to national ovarian cancer research. Our goal is to raise awareness and vital research funds for the development of an early detection test to save women’s lives.
