Lenny the Lamb was viciously attacked by a dog at just one week old and his hoof was terribly damaged, infected and Lenny was suffering a great deal of pain.
He was rescued this week at 4 weeks old and brought to the AWL where they treated his hoof and provided immediate care. Lisa-Jayne of Storybook Farm scheduled surgery the following day (31.10.2018) at A Plus Vets Pty Ltd, Beaudesert Queensland.
Storybook Farm- Sacred Animal Garden will be taking Lenny in post-surgery to live out his life happily and peacefully with other disabled farm and domestic animals.
Lenny's surgery will be approximately $1,800.00 and any donation, great or small will be accepted with immense gratitude from both Storybook Farm and Lenny!!
UPDATE: Sadly, Lenny required amputation of his front leg, he is awake and having cuddles and a nice warm bottle.
Wishing Lenny a happy healthy peaceful life at Storybook Farm! You are loved beautiful boy!
