I'm Sue, and three of my grandsons have Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy (DMD), a rare genetic disease that weakens their muscles and dramatically shortens their lives.
There is no cure but new treatments are around the corner that will help them lead a better and longer life.
To raise awareness and funds for my grandsons, I'm challenging myself to exercise and eat right for 79 days in a row, starting on 7/9 (World Duchenne Awareness Day).
The number 79 is significant as humans have 79 exons in our DNA, and if one of those is altered or deleted, it will cause DMD.
We need to raise money to travel overseas for treatment and to help my grandsons lead a better life.
Please donate today!
