I just wanted to say a really big ‘Thank You’ to everyone who has given so generously thus far, and to give you all an update. I now have a firmer action plan in place, and I am feeling much more confident of making some significant progress in my health. I have been able to see a new health care professional, have my blood analyzed, and began a new treatment program that promises to make a real difference. The funding has made it possible for me to begin a course of medication and supplementation recommended by my new therapist. This kind of illness and the treatment for it involve long courses of medications and supplements in order to completely eradicate the shingles virus, control the pain, and formication (feels like insects crawling in and out of your skin!) from nerve damage and get me back to a working level of energy and health. It is not a quick fix: we are talking months rather than weeks. If I have to stop the treatment protocol due to lack of funds it will set my progress back. Please, friends, continue to share, and give if you can. Sharing is giving too! And even the smallest donations add up!
