Hello again everyone. Firstly we want to say a massive thank you to everyone that has supported us through the My Cause page so far. Without everyone’s kindness and generosity we wouldn’t have been able to search for Mum as much as we have. Our friends and supporters really have kept this search going, so from our family we just wanted to say thank you SO much.
That said, we are now fundraising in an effort to raise funds to assist in the search for Mum again. This trip, unfortunately, due to the lack of funds will be the last for a while as expenses continue to pile up. We simply cant afford to continue with this same momentum as we have been. The tough reality that we are facing is that if we don't look for Mum, no one will. The Royal Malaysian Police haven't helped us and with so many missed opportunities to find her, we have to search for Mum ourselves.
We would really appreciate it if you could dig deep for one last effort which will send my brother and I over for our own search. Hopefully this time we can find an answer.
Again thank you. Words cant express what this means to our family.
Mum went missing after attending a dentist appointment at Dr Goh Clinic on Jalan Burma 13th Dec 2017. She was last seen around 1645 at Ramakrishna, 68 Jalan Scotland, Penang Georgetown where she unexpectedly exited an Uber which was on her way to see Grandma (her mother) and was never heard from or seen again. Her husband, Frank (Dad) lives in Adelaide & is currently there without his beloved wife of more than 40 years. I have now taken on the role as Dads primary carer and provide him with much needed company, but he desperately wants his wife returned to his side. Mum is also Grandmother of 2 boys who miss her so much and are themselves constantly trying to think up ways to find her.
Our family has appeared on local and international media to make the search for Mum as far and wide as possible in the hope someone, somewhere, knows something.
We have also sought the assistance of Panoptic Solutions (info@panopticsolutions.com) to assist in the search due to the lack of support from all government channels. They have assisted with an Operations Cell set up in Australia which is the hub of the search information and with boots on the ground in Malaysia to assist the family with the search efforts. Panoptic have been there for us every step of the way ever since we reached out.
No one knows where Mum is, if she’s safe or in danger, if she’s healthy or in need of aid. Nothing. We are desperate to continue the search for her and please need your support.
Any assistance is greatly appreciated and to keep up to date with details of the case, go to the "Find Annapuranee" page on Facebook. Please share the page around to as many people as possible and ask your friends to do the same. It’s the only way we will solve this is through the family’s amazing friends family and support of everyone!
Thank you everyone!!
From the bottom of our hearts, we thank you for your continued support. We thank you for the donations to assist with the search, the spreading of our posts to keep the search for Mum to the forefront of everyone and so much love for the support through messages and phone calls. Xoxox
