For our launch, we are excited to present our first speaker, Assaf Danby, with The Real Fauda.
The hype surrounding Netflix’s hit series Fauda has highlighted the work of Duvdevan, Israel’s counter terrorism unit. The world has been exposed to the harsh and often traumatic reality that these soldiers live in.
Growing up in the Melbourne Jewish Community, Assaf decided to volunteer with the IDF, serving in the Duvedevan for almost 4 years.
Recently, his unit commander made contact and gave clearance to speak publicly about his personal experiences for the first time.
It’s our pleasure to host Assaf and to raise money for the Duvedevan foundation. All donations will be going towards the lone soldier foundation & PTSD soldier support.
