Our son was diagnosed with a brain tumour in March of 2018 and since then he had to have two operations. Each time after his surgery, the first thing he would ask for is ice to put in cold water and you can see the frustration and desparation in his eyes just to have an ice cold water and it broke our hearts as whilst in ward 11A we discovered it was difficult to get ice and keep food cold due to lack of fridge space. We spoke to other families and they expressed the same concerns.
To make it easier for other families and children during their stay at ward 11A, our aim is to raise enough money to buy 24 bar fridges and 2 ice making machines, should we get over this amount, the money will then be used to obtain other equipment the ward may need to assist the children with their recovery.
Any amount of donation will be much appreciated towards this good cause. Thank you!
