A Life Well Lived.
In memory of the love, friendship and service Thelma provided to Haberfield and the wider community for more than 50 years through involvement with Ella Community Centre (Children's services and Aged Care), Brownies, Girl Guides, Haberfield Public School and her church.
The family wishes to erect a memorial garden within St Davids Church to mark her years as an active member of the community and a living example of true service. She was awarded an OAM for her services to the community and has touched many lives. We would like to build this garden for others to enjoy through friendship and contemplation and to remember her full and active life.
The garden will comprise a garden bench, raised garden bed and plaque to recognise and remember her great service. it will sit alongside the existing bench previously dedicated to Thelma's good friend Christine Stephens.
