Running for Women in Need in Sri Lanka

We are Alix and Caroline and we are participating in October to the Raid Amazone Race in Sri Lanka

and through the race we want to raise money for a Sri Lankan organisation close to our heart called Women in Needs

Women in Need is a non for profit organisation And is one of Sri Lanka's leading organisations committed to the elimination of all forms of violence against women and girls.

The Raid Amazone is a Women only race and therefore we want to take the opportunity to raise awareness and give support to Women in Sri Lanka.

Caroline is a French Australian living in Sydney and Alix is French and lives in Shanghai. We’ve been best friends forever and are active working women who’ve been raised by very passionate mothers, therefore the cause of Women around the world has always been something very close to our heart. We want to use our energy and passion to improve life and recognition of Women around the World.

We are creating a fundraising page and will target to raise at least $20,000AUD to donate to the association Women in Needs in Sri Lanka including the race entry fees (which covers for organisation logistic equipment for the 6 days of race).

We are seeking for donation from individual and companies and commit to include the logo on our racing outfit of any company that will donate to our cause.
