We are building Mackay qlds first commercial recording studio close to the heart of Mackay CBD 19 Juliet st. Aimed at being an affordable professional large scale recording and film production studio, we are commited to service and invigorate Mackay's growing arts community. We leased a building 3 months ago and have so far completed about 70% of the build. Most of the labour, materials ect have been donated or completed by musicians and artists who are donating their time and energy purley out of their own need for such a facility. Although we have much help and support we are getting to the expensive part of the build and need to install airconditioning, audio cabling and equipment. 20k will see this much needed facility and amazing project make it over the finish line and open its doors for public use. There are many artists, bands, schools, churches, film makers ect..in Mackay who will all benefit from a great local facility like this. Thank you in advance for donating or helping this project.
