I believe that together we will eventually beat cancer. In memory of my mother and dedicated to friends, families and colleagues who have been or currently affected by cancer, I will be shaving my head to raise funds for The Australian Cancer Research Foundation (ACRF) and Bowel Cancer Australia (BCA). My mother was diagnosed with Stage 4 Bowel Cancer in 2011 - 10 months later, her health deteriorated at a fast rate and passed away in August 2012. She was the strongest woman I know, a real inspiration. She was always the first person who wanted to help and was the type of person that would you give you her last dollar if you needed it. She offered help selflessly with no expectation of anything in return. She was my hero. The Charity Shave will be held at Burgerfiend's 1st birthday celebrations.
