Berlin Marathon 2018 Since Alexandra died during birth in 2006, I have worked tirelessly with Heartfelt to make a difference to families who have lost a child. To date, Heartfelt has gifted photography to more than 9000 families on this difficult journey of grief. I have decided to run the Berlin Marathon in September for Heartfelt and the Stillbirth Foundation Australia. Stillbirth Foundation Australia is the only Australian charity dedicated to stillbirth research. This organisation is recognised nationally as a leading voice on stillbirth and represents and supports thousands of Australian families who have been touched by stillbirth. They also play an important role in funding research. Every day, six babies are stillborn in Australia. The Stillbirth Foundation works to reduce this statistic and to raise awareness. Heartfelt is a volunteer organisation of professional photographers from around Australia and New Zealand dedicated to giving the gift of photographic memories to families that have experienced stillbirths, premature births or have children with serious and terminal illnesses.
