This Is Gonna Yurt is the name of our team participating in the 2018 Mongol Rally. What is the Mongol Rally? It's one of the greatest motoring adventures on the planet. Starting in the UK, those crazy enough to participate will drive a rusty bucket car a third of the way around the world, across mountains, desert, and Mongolian steppe to the finish line in Ulan Ude. There is no fixed track, no backup support, and only 3 rules: 1) The car must be unsuitable for the trip and have an engine of 1.0L or less. 2) You're completely on your own. When everything goes wrong, you work out how to fix it yourself. 3) Teams need to raise a minimum 1000 pounds ($1835 AUD) for charity. We have chosen to support the very worthy cause of Taronga Conservational Society and the great work they do.
