I am attempting to complete my first ever full marathon with the goal of raising some funds for an amazing 12 year old boy, Bailey. Running 42.2 km still seems a bit nuts to me, but knowing I'm helping a much loved family makes it that much easier to get out and run. Bailey was diagnosed with a brain tumour, and tumour on his spine in January 2018. Scans showed a diffuse intrinsic pontine glioma (DIPG), a rare and difficult to treat tumour on his brainstem. He has had radiation to attempt to shrink the tumour, and is now part of an immunotherapy trial which requires Bailey and his Mum to travel from Rockhampton to Brisbane every 2 weeks for treatment. Funds raised will go towards treatment and travel costs for Bailey, and I know any financial aid we can provide will be greatly appreciated. ???? Thanks ????????
